Training Objective
The aim of this training is to familiarize participants with the basic issues related to machine safety systems based on the PN EN ISO 13849-1 standard. During the course, participants will learn about the concepts of Performance Level (PL) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL), as well as key safety system parameters such as Category, Diagnostic Coverage (DC), Common Cause Failure (CCF), and Mean Time to Dangerous Failure (MTTFd). The training will also present calculation examples for different safety categories used in machines.
Target Group
This training is intended for machine manufacturers or users whose engineers and designers are involved in the design of safety-related control systems or in verifying machine safety systems. The main audience includes automation engineers, electrical system design engineers, project managers, and directors.
Training Topics
- Introduction to technical machine safety
